Three Fools and one Englishman are left hanging on a balloon above the sea, and their weight is pulling the balloon down. It is decided that one of the men has to let go of the balloon and drown, to reduce the weight on the balloon. There is a long argument, but finally the Englishman gives in and says a heart-breaking speech about why he is the one who should die. The other three Fools start clapping.
